I played well for the most part, but the key hand came on the final table when I flopped a set of Kings on a very scary board. Here's what happened:

I gave up on the hand too soon here. I think I needed to be a little stronger on the flop and lead the turn as well. Given that I check-called the turn I should have at least made a blocking bet on the river, to prevent this play. My opponent here claims he had 10 5. I'll never know for sure what he had but I do know I am dissapointed with my play and it put me on a bit of tilt. That's something else I have to work on, when I misplay a hand I often start to steam a bit. That steam cost me some money as I should have placed better, but I misread my opponent in my anger and bluffed off my stack. On the bright side, I picked up a 25$ bounty for knocking out kidkob, an old buddy of mine who's "famous" in the pokerpoker.ca world.

Hello LearsFool,

We have transferred $25.00 to your account as requested by 'davyg'.
Good luck to you both.

Then I played in a 50+5 SnG on stars and managed to take 2nd place, cashing 135$ for a total profit of 180$ today.

Not bad. I should be able to get the rest back tomorrow night. Then I can focus on getting back in the black. Gotta love the roller coaster!
